چکیده

The need to regulate the non-exhaust particulate matter (PM) emissions from vehicles has been discussed worldwide due bad environmental impact and toxicity human body. In-depth studies have precisely conducted on analysis of matters, in particular, amount tire, brake road wear particles their proportion atmosphere. In this study, influence tire (TRWP) PM atmosphere was investigated with samples. samples suspended were collected a high-volume sampler equipped quartz filter. Additionally, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) metal components rubber analyzed as markers by pyrolysis–gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (pyrolysis–GC/MS), GC/MS, inductively coupled plasma/mass (ICP/MS). More vinylcyclohexene detected than dipentene measured tires driving road, while more total (TSP) Among PAHs samples, pyrene exhibited highest concentration. Benzo(b)fluoranthene showed concentration TSP metals, zinc all calcium

Diesel Exhaust Particulates Characterization for Heavy Metals

This study was set out to characterize particulate emissions from transportation diesel engine in terms of heavy metals. The exhaust particulates from Mahindra DI engine were collected and analyzed at four different engine operating conditions namely idling, 40%, 70% and full load. It was found that as the load increases from idling to full load, the heavy metal content in particulates graduall...

Composition and size distribution of metals in diesel exhaust particulates.

This study characterizes the size distribution and composition of metals in diesel exhaust particulates (DEPs) emitting from four driving conditions. We quantified 17 metals in DEPs (34-1000 nm) with a total concentration ranging from 5.4-7.0 microg/m(3). Depending on driving conditions, ultrafine (<100 nm) and accumulation-mode DEPs carried up to 41% and 75% of the quantified metals, respectiv...

Exposure to diesel exhaust particulates induces cardiac dysfunction and remodeling.

Chronic exposure to diesel exhaust particulates (DEP) increases the risk of cardiovascular disease in urban residents, predisposing them to the development of several cardiovascular stresses, including myocardial infarctions, arrhythmias, thrombosis, and heart failure. DEP contain a high level of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which activate the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR). We hypothesiz...
